Using an MP3 player
My biggest hint for MP3 users is to remember to always be aware of your surroundings. Immersing yourself in music is really good fun but you’ve got to remember to keep an eye on where you are. There are some times in your life when you should be able to hear and be aware of everything going on around you.
Busy road crossings – you should always pay more attention, maybe turn down the volume so you can hear cars and traffic behind you. You should be wary of streets late at night when you’re on your own. Be aware of everything around you, this means listening I’m afraid so take your headphones off so that you can know when someone is walking behind you.
An MP3 player is brilliant at work in an office where you’re not allowed the radio on. You can listen in to your own favourite tunes on your earphones and block out disturbances around you. If you love listening to the radio then an MP3 player with a built in radio is a fantastic idea. Catch the drive time show on your way home on the bus or tram! Look for DAB to ensure you’re buying a digital compatibility. DAB+ is new and ensured even better quality of sound. DAB+ also gives you more information like electronic Program Guides, artist and track information, album and DJ pictures.
There’s some excellent MP3 players out there that also play videos too! So you can watch video on the go too!
